During these times, so many people need ChristLike care

We’re all seeing and feeling changes, but we’re still learning about the secondary effects of these changes. The truth is that we all have a lot going on inside our heads right now, and so many people need Christlike care. As Christians we need to equip ourselves to speak the truth in love and share effective, biblical counsel with others. Log in to our new Biblical Counseling center.

No MidWeek Bible Study

I pray all is with you in the Lord. As we continue to walk by faith during these trying times, I encourage you to look to the Lord (Psalm 121:1). Our church is continuing to take the necessary precautions to assure our church family remain healthy as well as stay connected spiritually.

As such, our Midweek Bible Study is going to take advantage of our digital opportunities and have classes online. Our regularly scheduled classes are postponed—Stewardship, Book of Acts, and Kingdom Man. However, our Adults as well as our Children Bible Study are planning to setup online lessons and videos in the coming weeks. Please check your emails, texts messages, and social media for details such start times.

Though this is a time to be safe and practice social distancing it is not the time for fear or worry.

This is not the time for the Lord’s church to be hidden or covered up. This is the time for the Lord’s Church to GLOW.

Matthew 5:16 NIV

Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

St John, we must GLOW our in our communities at this time.

  • Grow in your faith
  • Love one another
  • Outreach to those in need
  • Win the lost souls to Jesus Christ

Pastor Alfred

There will be no midweek bible study tonight.

I pray all is well with you in the Lord. As we prepare our hearts for worship this Sunday our Magnificent 7 Team has been busy making preparations for our Sunday Worship Service.

With regards to the Coronavirus, please follow the advise of medical experts and Kern County Public Health Services Department. Please take appropriate measures—wash your hands, don’t touch your eyes, cover your cough, clean and disinfect objects and surfaces.

Lastly, don’t forget that God is bigger than the Coronavirus. Instead of being in fear keep walking by faith. Pray for our nation and ask God to protect us.

Phil. 4:6 NIV

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

May the Lord bless and keep you.

“My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” –(Psalm 121:1)
